Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport or Zanzibar Harbour, you will be warmly welcomed by your Asali Travel representative and transferred to your hotel in the historic Stone Town.
After check-in, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Wander through the narrow streets lined with carved wooden doors, bustling markets, and centuries-old buildings that reflect the island’s African, Arab, Indian, and European influences.
In the evening, visit the famous Forodhani Gardens, where you can sample a variety of freshly prepared Zanzibar street food while enjoying the ocean breeze and a beautiful sunset.
Day 2: Stone Town & Spice Farm
Arrival at Zanzibar Airport or Harbour, meet your Asali Travel guide, and transfer to your hotel in historic Stone Town. Spend the afternoon exploring the old streets, markets, and cultural landmarks. In the evening, enjoy Zanzibari street food and sunset views at Forodhani Gardens.
Day 3: Safari Blue Excursion
Enjoy a full-day ocean adventure aboard a traditional dhow. Snorkel around coral reefs, relax on a sandbank, enjoy a seafood barbecue, explore mangrove lagoons, and return to shore after a memorable Indian Ocean experience.
Day 4: Free Day
Spend the day relaxing on Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches or enjoy optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, dolphin tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, or village visits. End the day with a stunning coastal sunset.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy your final breakfast overlooking Zanzibar’s coastline. Depending on your schedule, relax or shop for souvenirs before your transfer to the airport or harbour for your onward journey.
